Gorgeous Eva In Her $15.00 Vintage Dress
Wow! Eva Mendes shared this on her Instagram 3 days ago and I'm still thrilled to see it. I buy and wear lower priced vintage dresses all the time. She makes me proud to be a lower end vintage seller. One of my dresses I got for 50 cents, and I still have it in my collection. So it goes to show that money doesn't matter when it comes to what you like. Wear it with style, as the old saying goes and you be glad you did.

Summer 70s Sundress Perfect for Seeing Jaws
Summer is nearly here, hooray! The weather in my neck of the woods is quite nice, it's definitely time to think about wearing cooler, light weight dresses. I'm going to see the 70s flick Jaws this summer , so I plan to wear something like this dress to the movie. Easy to style with, just throw on some 70s strappy sandals and add a bright colored 70s scarf for your hair and you 'll be looking pretty 70s sexy. If you prefer to wear your dress a'la 1950s movie star look, just add a puffy crinoline , a patent leather belt with black heels and you've created a fun retro 50s style .

Vintage 50s Swirl Wrap Dress coming soon
Yea, Summer is nearly here in a few weeks, so get ready for some sun dresses coming your way. Here's a sneak peak at my favorite Swirl dress making its debut to my website this week. I've collected Swirl dresses for the past few years, I will be letting go of these in near future. So stay tuned.
Here's my little beauty, even with a shaky video it has such charm.
Remember Ethel Mertz sporting her Swirl house dresses on I Love Lucy??? Anyhow she and a few other 50s actresses wore them for the first time on television, and boy were they a hit, there's even blogs written about this famous label. Just Google it.
Enjoy!!!!

Red 60s Dress-perfect splash of color for this winter....
Here's a 1960s scarlet red jacquard floral print dress. It has a full pleated skirt bottom, sleeveless bodice, and a back hidden nylon zipper. It does not have a label nor washing instruction. The inner zipper has a a stamp on it with "do not iron", but that's all I can go by. It is made very well. I paired it up with a vintage sweater and added my trusty belt, looks great.
Here's the measurements:-
bust 34-36
waist 28
hips full
length 38
rib-cage 30 small

Vintage Helen Rose Dress and Lucille Ball
I just love this dress, fits like a glove . Its the type of dress that is so timeless, very contemporary.
It has been listed on my Etsy shop this past week. I will be getting it dry cleaned and ready for purchase this week. Stay tuned. Update: This Helen Rose dress is soon to be on my new website.
I love a dress with history attached, its by Helen Rose . She was a famous Hollywood designer from the 1936 to 1968-for stars like Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and numerous others, she made these actresses so glamorous.
Just this week I discovered my favorite movie that features her fashions can be found in The Long, Long Trailer from 1953. I was so excited to discover this! Helen Rose created so many fashions for this movie, and they are even being copied today.
- In this flick you will see sweet party frocks, casual day dresses, a gorgeous wedding gown, and of course Lucy in cute jeans with blouses done in gingham checks and colorful stripes. Too cute for words.
Enjoy this romp through the movie...
Hope you enjoyed these wonderful fashions from Helen Rose. Check out this summer movie, its a blast !!!
