Lillie Rubin started 1946 in Miami Florida, sadly it went out of business in the 1990s.. I really believed that it was person behind this label, kinda disappointed that it's the store name. Glad to find out that many famous designers stood behind this store's label from many years.- from Joan Leslie, Johnny Herbert, Robert David Morton, Molly Paris, Pierre Cardin, Fora King, Giorgio Sant' Angelo
, and many more too many to list. The label was known for their evening gowns for weddings, prom, and other special occasions. The brick and mortar stores are no longer around, now the company is owned by Cache.
Here's my late 70s early 80s
vintage Lillie Rubin, a sweet little number. Perfect for any occasion, what a fun dress and very unique. Wow! Perfect pin up style - va va voom!!! I wonder who designed this dress?
Measurements-bust 38-waist-28-hips36-pouffy black rosettes 9 inches across-(very large but so cute)-found one tear on rosette, that's all.
