 New to the website is this classic little black dress, reminds me of Old Hollywood, so Audrey.




Vintage 1950s Black Surplice/ Crossover style dress S

This dress is done in a cotton / rayon blend. The style of the bodice has a surplice or crossover faux wrap front. Can be worn off the shoulders for a different look, very cute.There is a metal zipper on the back works fine, a pleated skirt and a wide skirt bottom. The sleeves are capped, there is no label or tag. It is made very well.The fabric is thin and has a ribbed crinkled look, but would look great layered with a crinoline or slip for fullness.

In good vintage condition- a small seam needs to be re-sewn under the arm and I did locate a hole on the shoulder, two easy repairs.

First up is a 1950s plus size vintage dress, these dresses are getting harder to find. So this one in my book is considered pretty RARE.

 Fabric: nylon, taffeta

 Features: nice day dress or party dress, full skirt, jewel neckline, metal zipper

 Measurements: bust 42-44 tight  waist 36  hips full  length 42 

 Condition: Update:  In good vintage condition, but with a few faded stains on dress, not bad.  This   dress will need additional cleaning by a professional. The fabric is nylon, so it will need some care.
 - the hook and eye are missing
 - the zipper is stiff
 - the inner lining is a little shrunk
- there is a small seaming opening

  My second listing for the day is this 1970s-1980s cotton sundress, this dress means a lot to me it was given to me from a very close friend, she's gone now. I wore it a few times and put it away. Now it can be yours for your vintage collection.

Condition- Update: I had the dress dry cleaned and fixed. The faded stain , needs some more work. I have left it up to the new owner. It's ready to wear. Please note all photos. This dress is worn, with color fading .

In good vintage condition, only a few flaws- the straps needs a re-stitching and near the back strap I found some faded foundation stain, I have not removed it.  This dress is worn, with color fading .


 My third listing is just off of ETSY, not going to list again, it is a 1940s black cotton eyelet day dress that got a lot of attention when I used to wear it, again has been put away and now can be yours for you vintage collection.

Features: eyelet pattern, button front, over lapped shoulders, side metal zipper, comes with matching fabric belt,

Condition: In good vintage condition, but with a flaw. The lower skirt has a fabric tear on the eyelet stitching, an easy repair. Also the front button is missing its original rhinestone.

Abe Schrader 50s 60s Cocktail Dress on Website

 Here's a dress by the King of 5th Avenue NY , who lived to be 100! Hooray ! I have a few dresses by Abe Schrader from the 70s and 80s, but it's very rare when I locate one from the late 50s to early 60s. I have no clue which era it comes from???  It look like it comes from the late 50s, but it could be later than that.  This dress will be on website this week. Please note that this  dress has some issues, first its not new old stock, its had a fun life somewhere. The woman who owned this dress wore it a lot, I can tell by the seams, and lining. This dress is not worn out, can be fixed with a little TLC. The seams on the underarms need some stitching,  there's a hole on the neckline probably from a brooch and a few small snags on the bodice, not that bad. I'm selling the dress in as is condition, or I can see how much it will be to repair some the flaws. The snags are too hard for repair, I'm afraid they might ruin it by mistake. But, with all these flaws, this dress is wearable and very classic.

 Measurements- bust 32-34 the arms lays flat akimbo like -waist-26-hips 34 tight 36-bodice-17-shoulders-15-length-43 - this dress looks much bigger , but it's not. I would say it's a small to petite size.

I love her voice, she was married to the Louis Prima in the 50s. But I think she stole the show with that voice. Her hair style was so 20s flapper. I want to now cut my hair like hers. I'm so tired of long hair, getting too old for long hair.
