Megan Draper's Hat Very Similar To Mine!

   The actress that plays Megan Draper is wearing a summer hat almost like mine. Both hats are floppy,  but mine has a ribbon and a small flat  bow. I love when I find  Mad Men costumes or props similar to theirs in my personal collection, now that's cool beans. Wish I had her fruit beach dress. I wonder who made that? My search continues....

SOLD 60s Eva Wurl Leopard Coat L

SOLD!  Now at my Etsy shop To Dress Vintage and on Babylon Mall Only Couture is this fantastic leopard faux fur coat from the late 60s to early 70s.

     I'm offering free dry cleaning and repairs on this one, so its ready to wear . Such a classic swing coat to treasure for years to come.

Fabric: faux fur, satin nylon lining

Features: leopard print coat, front pockets, wide collar, fully lined, leather knobby buttons, cropped sleeves

Measurements: chest 48 waist48 hips 50 length 36 - much smaller with belt-


Condition: Found a few flaws, one tiny mark and one underarm has an seam opening on lining needs to be repair, the hem is frayed, and it needs a good cleaning that's all. The original belt or clasp is missing, I think this was supposed to be fastened in the back with the two notches on the side. I will have this coat repaired and dry cleaned if you like, price is firm.

60s TV and Fashion

  This is still vintage related. I have discovered for the first time the tv show from the 60s called The Mothers In -Law which was produced by Dezi Arnaz , who was the husband of Lucille Ball. I saw clips of this tv show on You Tube , but they were all deleted and I gave up thinking I would never see it again. Amazon has it for sale , but all my cash goes to vintage, so I would have to wait.

 Now Hulu Plus has this show along with the  The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy , which I'm a huge fan of. This really made my day!

While I was watching the Mothers In- Law , I spied a pattern of a dress that reminded me of my 60s scooter dress that I will be listing on our Etsy site soon.

    This dress looks very similar, but Eve Arden's must be silk and from a famous Hollywood designer, I need to check with the credits to see who her designer was.

     This scooter dress is 100% cotton and meant for a teenager. It is funny how the trends bounced back and forth form mother to daughter, how cute. Nowadays, mothers want to look like their daughters, LOL.
