Welcome to my Graveyard Vintage blog. I will be posting everything vintage, whether it's my collection or things that just catch my eye. I have been on the web with the name To Dress Vintage, I am no longer using that name. Graveyard Vintage was a dream come true years ago, so now I can sell more than just vintage clothing, now I can sell vintage housewares ,vintage accessories and any other finds. Thanks for being patient with this change. Please come again Vampira would be pleased as well.

My Marilyn Monroe inspired dress!
.
Marilyn Monroe by Bert Stern from 1962. The back of this dress plunges in the back like mine, so now I can pin point the year it was made from the late 50s to early 60s. Mine has a different cut and a lot tighter more of a wiggle dress compared to her Dior gown. It has a large satin bow with a plunging back or backless similar to hers, so glamourous.I think she would have loved to wear a dress like this, definitely her style.
Here's Dree Hemingway in a reproduction of Monroe's 1962 Dior black gown. It's not the same dress, but such an inspiration very pretty indeed.
And the one and only Marilyn in her fabulous Dior backless gown, wow!
