New Vintage Dresses on the way ...
Now on my website, fresh vintage dresses for you . First this lovely 1960s 1970s Coco of California hot pink mod dress, size M-L. Second here's a sweet little spring dress vintage size 10 or M , perfect for everyday. It is by Stuart Alan USA 100 percent washable polyester, the shiny type, not the itchy kind, hee hee. I would say the style is very 80s does 1950s. I added my crinoline to show off the fullness of the skirt and with its jewel neckline with a button front , easy to change its look. I just folded it down to create a more relaxed style. Cute dresses now up for sale. Please email me at cabbiekat@hotmail.com if you have any questions regarding these dresses, thanks

Alfred Angelo's Burlesque Style Dress
Up for offer is this fantastic Alfred Angelo's fun cocktail dress. Actually it would be a perfect performance dress for a singer or classic burlesque dancer. The dress of course would need to be altered, in order to perform a strip tease, but that's up to you.
I will be listing this dress on my Etsy this week, so stay tuned.
I found some great snap shots of classic burlesque performers from the 50s. Gotta love their fishtail dresses, similar to mine. Sorry about the color change, the dress is a dark blue not black. The sparkles are not colorful , they are silver. The dress does have some of the sparkles missing, not bad when you're on stage. The last closeup shows the true color and what the sparkles look like up close, they are not beads or sequins. Measurements are 34 bust- waist-28 hips 36 - medium size dress, there's no stretch due to fabric. If you are interested in this dress just email me at cabbiekat@hotmail.com or check out the dress on my To Dress Vintage Etsy shop. Thanks!
Look at Rita Hayworth's dress from the 1952 movie" Affair in Trinidad" , what a knockout dress.
Have fun with vintage!

Put away those black dresses and try something new. How about a bright pumpkin fall colored dress. This dress is so perfect for fall. It has a sailor flare, full pleated skirt, nice large brown buttons, back hidden metal zipper. Measurements are- bust 36 raglan sleeves gives it some room- waist 26 no stretch - hips full- length-43- shoulders 17 missing its original belt, any belt would do- fabric is a heavy cotton -wool blend- not lined-Vintage 50s Orange Dress link

LENA HOSCHEK : MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK BERLIN SS15 AND MORE....
I adore this fashion designer, her designs are truly classic. Enjoy these videos.
Summer is nearly through , but these playful fashions will be around forever, such classic designs. Bridgette Bardot and the pin ups from the late 50s and 60s come to mind, love these eras.
Love everything from her collection!

Remember in Ferris Bueller's Day Off 1986 -when the character Cameron was staring at this art work, how sad he looked with the Smith's playing in the background.

Keely Smith Style and Music Icon...
I love her voice, she was married to the Louis Prima in the 50s. But I think she stole the show with that voice. Her hair style was so 20s flapper. I want to now cut my hair like hers. I'm so tired of long hair, getting too old for long hair.
My favorite photos of them together and just of her...
Enjoy her beautiful voice.
