 I'm so excited for this show! I hope we see many more episodes. The owner and his crew are fabulous and such fun to watch.  The music is  outstanding, the owner has such good taste. I want everything is his shop!!!!  Here's a sample of Born To Style, Borrowed, Old, Refurbish and New their style mantra ..... gosh I love it!

  I don't have cable, but I do have Hulu on my computer, there's only one episode on Hulu , so you better watch it quick.  Most episodes can be found on the FYI channel website. Unfortunately as I said before I don't have cable, so the older shows are blocked, rats. I'm glad I watched the first episode before it was deleted off of Hulu. Anyhow, enjoy this show,I know I will.

Ava Gardner The Secret Conversations

Just wanted to share- I finished this book from my local library, what a good read. Not your average movie star bio book, but much more. This book is based on actual conversations the author had with Ava. It is gritty, fun and very candid.  Oh,how I love her more! It made me laugh  and cry, made my Summer much happier with a good book .And Frank Sinatra played in the background... a perfect day.

Megan Draper's Hat Very Similar To Mine!

   The actress that plays Megan Draper is wearing a summer hat almost like mine. Both hats are floppy,  but mine has a ribbon and a small flat  bow. I love when I find  Mad Men costumes or props similar to theirs in my personal collection, now that's cool beans. Wish I had her fruit beach dress. I wonder who made that? My search continues....

 This gown is from one of my favorite movies of hers, from 1937 The Bride Wore Red .It would have been great seeing this vibrant dress on the big screen.

 The  costume designer Monique Prudhomme  created such a wonderful wardrobe for Vera Farmiga.. I love her floral print blouses, a line skirts, and her classic dresses.  I can't wait to see what  her character wears next.....

I'm so obsessed with her wardrobe that I ordered this dress from Le Bombe shop .com a few days ago I never buy dresses for myself only for my shop, but I'm such a huge Hollywood nerd - for a mere $54.00 and shipping I just could not let this item slip through my fingers. . Here's the link

I just got my dress in the mail today as I  finished this post. I'm so happy that its from Seattle, now that's cool.  The dress comes with an extra button, but no matching belt. The yellow trim is not so bright like on the website, which I like.  Just found out that the label is by Aryeh from Los Angeles. Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives was seen in a pretty floral Aryeh, so I know its a good brand.

 The dress is a light cotton, not poly.  It is lined only on the bodice, but not the skirt. I just tried it on, and I should have gotten a small instead of a medium. Anyhow, it looks great with a belt. The length is perfect with wedge sandals and Keds. I love the over sized apron pockets. The cut of the dress is perfect for me. I am such a sucker for polka dots and a line skirts.

 The dress looks easy to care for and very durable. I've had retro inspired dresses that were made so poorly that after a few washes they fell apart, sorry Forever 21 you're off my shopping list. This dress will be such fun to wear and easy to accessorize with. I already have navy blue espadrilles that will match perfectly and a faded yellow scarf.  Thank you so much Le Bomb Shop !!!!! SOLD 60s Eva Wurl Leopard Coat L

SOLD!  Now at my Etsy shop To Dress Vintage and on Babylon Mall Only Couture is this fantastic leopard faux fur coat from the late 60s to early 70s.

     I'm offering free dry cleaning and repairs on this one, so its ready to wear . Such a classic swing coat to treasure for years to come.

Maker: Eva Wurl

Fabric: faux fur, satin nylon lining

Features: leopard print coat, front pockets, wide collar, fully lined, leather knobby buttons, cropped sleeves

Measurements: chest 48 waist48 hips 50 length 36 - much smaller with belt-


Condition: Found a few flaws, one tiny mark and one underarm has an seam opening on lining needs to be repair, the hem is frayed, and it needs a good cleaning that's all. The original belt or clasp is missing, I think this was supposed to be fastened in the back with the two notches on the side. I will have this coat repaired and dry cleaned if you like, price is firm.
